Casa Bormioli - Maison de Charme Procida

The House

Casa Bormioli, charming holiday home in the center of Procida.

Casa Bormioli is the perfect combination of good taste and meticulous details, designed and created by the owner Minnie Bormioli, with the help of the architect Silvio Bernardi and thanks to the furnishings of Pier Luigi De Caro.

It consists of several rooms, all distinguished by particularities that make each of them unique and inimitable, thanks to heirlooms and furnishings, acquired during numerous trips by Minnie Bormioli and sometimes commissioned and designed just to be part of this luxurious holiday home. Few of the furnishings were not bought during travels, in fact, these have been recommended and supplied by Pier Luigi De Caro, owner of the Gallery Elena, Naples.

The Terrace is a place that thrives on multi-ethnicity, where carpets and furniture that comes mostly from North Africa give the environment a vibrant touch, there is as well an orange grove on which the same terrace overlooks and whose scents intoxicate the visitor’s spirit.

The dining area, where the breakfast is served is very wide and airy, where elegance and delicacy make our guests comfortable who can then unwind in the relaxation area, where comfortable sofas that comes from the United States allow you to relax and perhaps even borrow a book from the library prepared in the house and immerse yourself in a pleasant read.

The house was born from the union of two different but adjoining apartments, and is today glazed to give a particular passage from one part of the house, which takes you to the spacious living room where paintings stand out and sofas of exquisite workmanship look inviting.

The cuisine is also distinguished with original features such as artistic terracotta floors or hand-painted tiles, as well as the bathrooms, whose furnishings were designed by the famous French architect and designer Philip Starck.
